Going to San Francisco a day after Christmas 2015

It only costs us $1.2 per person to take the BART (地鐵) to get over the bay and go into the center of San Francisco directly. Shame on us not to do it often and SF is the world famous tourist destination. Compare to driving, this is much more comfortable and has nice view of the bay. The train goes under the bay water to get into SF.

Walk along Powell street uphill and you can get to Union Square, a popular place for tourists. Across street is the famous Westin St. Francis Hotel. Every year they put out a gingerbred house to attract people.

Westfield Mall has a stop for BART. You can shop and eat here before you go out to streets. At the top of 5th floor under the dome, a restaurant bears my friend's name.

最美麗的狗公園 Point Isabel 2015

從Berkeley北上，到了Richmond 海邊走出去, 就是Point Isabel 狗公園。 這裡可以看到海灣大橋，舊金山市區，金門大橋，風景秀麗。給狗看美景，也是讓人看的。 這裡的商店，正面是賣狗的東西，側邊是賣人的東西, 狗比人重要。一些美國人寧願養狗，不養小孩子，因為狗聽話，哈。
通常外來人大都去看舊金山景點，很少來東灣。原來這裡有許多秀麗景點, 都很近, 吃的地方也在附近, 很方便, 可以說吃、喝、玩、樂都非常集中。我喜歡住離海很近的地方, 最好在半個小時內可以達到。
All scenic points are all within 20 min. drive. You can eat at Chinatown or Ranch 99 shopping center in Richmond whenever you feel hungry. Or eat at East Ocean restaurant at Emeryville Marina Park for higher price and will have a panoramic view of Bay Bridge, San Francisco City and Golden Gate Bridge.
