Oakland在華語翻譯成奧克蘭, 在粵語是屋崙，因為粵語在屋（Uk）的發音中有一個“k”，因此聽起來更接近於英語, 南方方言仍然保持古代的入聲, 擁有-k輔音韻尾。
On the way to downtown Oakland or back home, we always have to drive by Lake Merritt. 在回家的路上，我們必須經過美麗湖。
A train station is located at Jack London Square of Oakland. Riding trains at Oakland can go to East Coast. 乘坐火車可以到美國東海岸。

We had done it a few times to park our car in front of the waterfront. Eventually, the boats from Lake Merritt can come out to the bay here. 後天2017年NBA冠軍隊，金州勇士將在奧克蘭美麗湖 Oakland Lake Merritt 慶祝，但明天我們將離開到新疆旅遊，雖然美麗湖只是在我們家旁邊, 沒辦法參加。 這三年勇士登上籃球王國寶座, 我幸逢其盛，2015年他們得到冠軍，在美麗湖大大慶祝，上萬的粉絲湧入奧克蘭。人潮洶湧，密密麻麻的包圍著美麗湖，從天空看下來，真是絕妙的一幅圖畫。請看照片和文章“奧克蘭是我的家鄕”。
